RELIGIOUS TRIP NORTH SUMATRA
DAY 01 ARRIVAL MEDAN – BERASTAGI (l/d)
First visit is the Maria
Annai Church at Velangkani a place of worship dedicated
to the Mother Maria, the healer, and this name is taken from
the praying dedicated to Mother Maria which has become the
tradition of shoreline people at Velangkani. The uniqueness
of this church is its original Moghul architecture. The trip
continues to the cave of Maria at Pencawir then to Berastagi
resort town. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Berastagi.
DAY 02 BERASTAGI – TAMAN WISATA IMAN SIDIKALANG – PARAPAT (b/l/d)
After breakfast depart for Lake Toba with beautiful panorama
along the way. On the way visiting Iman Sidikalang. Lunch
will be served in a lunch box. If time permits a visit to
the famous Sipiso-piso waterfall will be made and the long
concubines house of Batak king of Simalungun called " ruma
bolon ". Evening arrive at Parapat town on the bank of lake
Toba. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Parapat.
DAY 03 SAMOSIR BOAT TOUR – NAGAHUTA, PEMATANG SIANTAR (b/l/d)
After breakfast depart for the island of Samosir by boat.
First visit will be the village of Tomok where the famous
cemetry of Batak Toba king Sidabutar. On the side of the village
can be found various unique souvenir shops of Batak Toba people.
Second visit is Ambarita village to see the traditional Batak
village where is found stone altar believed to be the meeting
table in the past. Return to Parapat for lunch at local restaurant.
Proceed to Pematang Siantar and overnight at the House of
Franciscan Education at Nagahuta. Dinner at the Franciscan
House. Here you will study the meditation.
DAY 04 NAGAHUTA, PEMATANG SIANTAR – MEDAN – JAKARTA (MP/MS)
After breafkast visit souvenir shops which offers special
local delicacies such as teng teng pinat. Drive to Medan on
the visit Maria Sibiru Biru, Deli Tua known as Black Madonna.
Lunch will be served at local restaurant on the way. Drop
at hotel in Medan or direct to airport for your flight. Special
