Day 1 Medan Berastagi town
Meet at the airport or hotel, transfer to restaurant for lunch.
After lunch, drive to Berastagi town. En-route stop at Nature
Reserve and fruite stands in Berastagi. Accommodation and
dinner at hotel in Berastagi.
Day 2 Berastagi - Parapat town
After breakfast, transfer to Parapat town. En-route visit
Lingga Village to see a glimpse of the way of life fo the
Batak Karo tribe andtheir typical houses. Tingging Hill to
view the northern par of lake Toba and Sipisopiso waterfall,
and Pematang Purba to see the long house or Ruma Bolon which
was belonged to the royal family of Batak Simalungun. Late
lunch will be served on the arrival in Prapat. Dinner and
accommodation at hotel in Parapat ( a choice to overnight
on the island of Samosir is available ).
Day 03 Samosir Island
A day tour by boat, cruising on lake Toba to the central isle
of Samosir where colorful Batak Toba villages cling to the
shore. Inland, visit Tomok village where carved satues stand
in an ancient graveyard as memorial to the kings of the bygone
days, and also a chance to hunt souvenirs. Proceed by boat
to Ambarita village to see the stone furniture as the remnant
of the megalithic culture of the Batak Toba tribve. Then visit
to Tao island for rest or swim in the tranquil water of lake
Toba. Also visit to Simanindo village to see the long house
of the Batak Toba king which has become a museum, and a chance
to watch the Toba folk dance performed by the villagers. Return
to Parapat. Lunch en-route. Accommodation and dinner at hotel.
Day 04 Parapat - Padang Sidempuan town
Breakfast is followed by a leisurely morning drive along the
Bukit Barisan, the mountain ranges, which run the entire length
of Sumatra. En-route visit Lumban Binanga to see a typical
village of the Batak Toba tribe, market place in Balige, and
Tarutung, a small town located in Silindung valley, fior lunch.
Accommodation and dinner at hotel in Padang Sidempuan.
Day 05 Padang Sidempuan - Bukit Tinggi
Breakfast at hotel, then continue driving through the same
mountain range of Bukit Barisan to Bukit Tinggi. Stop will
be made at Usortolang village to see the remnant of the Batak
Mandailing typical house, Purba village, Bonjol village where
the equator line croses the globe. Lunch will be served an-route.
Dinner and overnight at hotel in Bukit Tinggi.
Day 06 Bukit Tinggi - Padang City
Breakfast at hotel then city sightseeing tour of Bukit Tinggi
featureing Sianok Canayon, Fort de Kock known as one of the
remnants of the Dutch Colonial Government, museum and the
colorful Pasar Atas or upper market. Tour proceed to Batusangkar
being a lively and scenic town surrounded by a majestic rise
terraces where local countryside is dotted with Rumah Adat,
en-route stop at Pagaruyung to see the palace, which was rebuilt
on the ruin of the bygone Pagaruyung Empire, Lima Kaum to
see the stabbed and incribed stone of the past king. Lunch
of a typical Minangkabau cuisine en-route. On the way to Padang,
drives up over the low crater wall and down o Singkarak lake
passing through the charming hilltop village of Balimbing,
and the fantastic view of Anai Valley. Accommodation and dinner
at hotel in Padang.
Day 07 Transfer to airport
Breakfast at hotel and free time until transfer to airport.

Hotels in Berastagi and Parapat towns and the island of Samosir are not equipped with air conditioning,
due to the teperature is low, and location is very high more then 800 meters above sea level, while
in Parapat even higher then 1000 meters above sea level.
